Coaching Tools

The tools we use to help your organization achieve its goals are strategically designed to bring out the best in your team. Grounded in addressing your organization’s issues head on, our tools facilitate teamwork, communication and performance and might even generate a laugh or two.

Leadership Dialogue

The Leadership Dialogue is a facilitated conversation where members of your organization are given the opportunity to discuss normally unaddressed aspects of their jobs in an open forum. For some organizations this dialogue is a one-time session and for others it is structured as multiple sessions throughout the year. In either case, the Leadership Dialogue addresses issues at the core of your organization and teaches team members how to more effectively work with one another.

Your Responsibilities As A Board Member

Sometimes, the oldies are the goodies.  I have used this article for years to assist groups in understanding  Board/Staff Boundaries in organizations.

THE BUS TRIP

Dear Board Member,

Let’s take a trip!

I’m going to tell you a story about a board that decided to take a trip to a resort in the mountains.

What’s so interesting about this story is that it closely parallels your job as board members—and your administrator’s job as manager.  In fact, I think about this story whenever I’m unsure of what our board should be doing.  It helps me clarify my responsibilities as a board member.

So, let’s get started on our great adventure!

 The Power of Words

I truly adore this very "eloquent" exercise.  The learning potential for individual and groups is amazing.
